The tube is said to be a packing solution for the future. It’s much more hygienic as for example the pan; a big advantage for medical or cosmetic products.
A new technology has come to market which allows tube decoration to be cost effective from 2000 pieces (it used to be from 30000 pieces): The „Stuff“ (supported ultra thin factored foil). The decoration can be manufactured customized by using the digital printing system. The fast production of the packaging also allows to fill perishable products in tubes.
